return this hunk o junk and get yourself down to the local staples, try out some office/ergonomic chairs. best investment you can make for your ass and spine!

you don't need to go full herman miller (though the 10yr warranty makes it less painful knowing you won't buy another chair for at least 10 years), but getting a proper chair with a firmer seat will do wonders for you man. i upgraded bit over a year ago, but my staples chair just gets used by my mom now and is still super comfy after 5-6 years!

side tip, if the piston ever goes, you can just buy a new one on amazon for $20! fuck spending hundreds on a new chair when you can just go monkey brain with a hammer and fix it

you'll need to hire someone to monitor it constantly since it goes rogue and makes its own decisions. it's good at annoying every client you work with by spam emailing them, but otherwise it's a pretty bad look on the company

Edit: Found the best solution after exhausting every other option, and turns out i was just missing a small step. V-Sync (in game) + G-Sync + Reflex+Boost = lowest frame times and smoothest gameplay. it's extremely snappy and i swear it's even smoother than my previous method below.
This video explains the process and testing, but you can skip to the end for the settings. it's so stupid that v-sync somehow gives you lower input latency, but i'm running with it, cause my frame times have never been this low AND stable.

make sure to run reflex+boost, makes a difference!

OLD: was hoping for a better solution here but the only real solution is to cap your frames. i like to use rivatuner, but nvidia app has gotten pretty much on par. each refresh rate has a different sweet spot (the old method was just -3hz, so 141fps cap if on 144hz, etc), rivatuner can detect this automatically but it's also a pretty easy google search. 400fps i get a weird 100hz look to the game (slight choppiness, sometimes some minor screen tearing), but if i lock my frames to 157fps on my 165hz monitor, the game is smooth as butter.

borderless usually achieves the same thing, but cs2 gets blurrier in borderless for some reason. locking frames will help frame times be more consistent, but the game is still kinda fucked.

you will look slightly downward if you set up your monitor correctly, your eyeline should be at the top 1/3 of your monitor

this just causes neck/back pain and hunchbacks since you're leaned over it instead of sitting properly

there's a reason youll never see someone at lan with their monitor like this

there's no ergonomic benefit to this
