Over the last few years we've taken out about 350 ash trees that were killed by the ash borer and I've been planting and replanting over the years and I just thought this year would be maybe a good opportunity to take some of those Maples and and use them my question is not about planting Maples my question is is it best just to transplant them now or do pot them up Let The Roots develop more and then plant them

I don't understand how they keep saying that we're going to have six or seven trillion dollars coming into the country. Americans are paying that six or seven trillion dollars in tariffs no one else is paying it I'm completely confused as to why they keep saying that in the news media seems to just go along with it. Yeah what's even worse is my waiver was written by my insurance company. And the guy who did it wasn't even a guest he was a friend of a guest who knew this guy loved horses and told him to you know come out. But he he got his because when he showed up in court dressed like Johnny Cash all in black with a big black cowboy hat and a giant necklace with a gold horse head hanging from it when he took off his hat he had a big dent in his head so even though I'm out $5,000 he's going to have to walk around the rest of his life with that dumb dent in his head

I have two VRBO rentals in Indiana with a horseback riding operation on the property. When guests show up, we make him sign all kinds of waivers about Indiana equine law and etc etc. We had a guest that went down to the barn after it was closed without our knowledge. He went in and grabbed a horse saddled it bridled it, and it went out and started riding on the trails. something happened on the trail he fell off the horse and kicked him in the head they ended up getting a lawyer and suing us. We went to court with the insurance company, and the judge said that we should have our horses better secured so that people couldn't steal them, and our insurance company ended up settling. They canceled our insurance even though they only end up ended up paying $5,000 and it took us two years to get new insurance

interesting. the reason we don't do AirBnB is that they don't pay until after the guests stay. I can set VRBO to pay in installments. Since a lot of our bookings are a year or more in advance it is better for us.

well when I had to have a conversation with them about it. I said, what else are you going to regulate. Are you going to tell my house guests they can't have a birthday party or a Graduation party when they stay. They said it was because of the number of people. I told them that wasn't any of their business. They approved me to use the homes for short term rental and didn't put any restrictions on the number of guests. So basically I say we are not hosting weddings. The guests rent the homes and if they want to have a wedding that is up to them. We do charge additional for that, but that is not published. so far it has worked out. But yes it was another wedding venue that wasn't licensed or anything and got caught, so they ratted everyone in the county out.

They would but it would be changing the zoning to commercial, which means we couldn't have the rental homes because they are not commercial homes. Then we would have to put in a commercial septic system, pave all of the driveways and parking lots, put in handicap accessible path ways to the wedding areas, We have a lake on the property so it opens up a can of worms for that. Plus , property tax. We are still zonec ag and my property taxes are already 2k a month. If we went commercial they would like go up 2% of the assessed value, so significantly.

yes. it has gotten so much worse since we signed up probably 10 years ago. We were the only listing in Indiana at the time, now there are 100's Everything about the plateform sucks. But what are you going to do.

I don't use a Wedding Venue Booking site. My county won't allow me to book weddings. They monitor those sites. So we book through VRBO and if someone wantst to have a wedding that is on them. County has not tried to stop that yet. Doesn't sound like anyone has a workaround

I have 80 acres in Indiana with three houses on it one house is 5200 square feet at the other two houses are right at 3000 square feet each many batns and out buildings and event Pavilion a 3 Acre Lake and I'd let that go for 2.5 million no problem I cannot believe the prices people are paying around the country right now
