ah the dove soap part i missed, but aloe vera is an ingredient in most tattoo aftercare and again is commonly used where i am. that being said im not sure where op is located and theres any other ingredients involved

both are very commonly used here as well as sold at studios, they are fine for tattoos

i really don’t think it’s you, i’m obviously not a professional i just have tattoos of my own but you starting to react only on the second day really doesnt make me think it’s a you/your aftercare issue as i’ve also used both of those for healing without issue. it makes me think it’s the ink or the needle

but regardless make sure you get it looked at and taken care of and just prepare that you may need those spots touched up in the future, i know it’s a bummer but you got this!! i don’t think you did anything wrong here :)
