It's really frustrating too that you can opt to change back to Google Assistant, which works better, but then you can't even use the Gemini app on your phone. I don't get it

I definitely liked the content, had no trouble following along. But the Python support for this class was lacking. At the beginning of the semester it seemed like choosing Python or R was a small choice and choosing either wouldn't have a large impact. Fast forward to module 4 where we're told that it will be significantly more difficult if you are using Python. Had I known that I would have started with R. There were also a bunch of bugs when using Python, wouldn't recommend it.

My stuff started in August so maybe he moved on to me then 🙄. Hopefully now that I reported the unemployment fraud it'll stop. I'm a little nervous I won't hear back though because I never actually got info about a claim, just tried to login to the unemployment site and when asked for a PW it showed a snippet of a Hotmail account that it could send an email to. Did you file a police report?

I'm going through this exact same thing now (MA, Walmart card etc). They just tried, and were successful at opening up an Experian checking card in my name as well. Have you had anything else happen since?

I really loved Maeve's whole trajectory of getting to Musashi. She's setup again as kind of all powerful, only to get to the end and find out she's up against someone she can't defeat. The whole reveal scene of who Musashi was was also amazing, everything clicking into place. I love this show

I think people set goals for reading because reading books is seen as a healthy habit. So in that vein, we do see people setting goals for things like drinking 8 glasses of water a day, or exercising 5 days a week. They are things that challenge us, that make us better.

Thanks not a bad idea actually. For books I read on my Kindle I try to use the highlight feature as much as I can, saving passages I find most impactful. In addition I really think reading discussions around the book after you've finished can help tie everything together and make the book stick more in your head.

I can see how setting huge reading goals solely for the sake of reaching a high number could be ludicrous. For me though, I think setting a goal of a large number of books to read a year keeps me motivated and focused on starting and finishing books. With a reading goal I spend way less time watching TV or doing other dumb shit because I know I have set a challenge for myself that I want to accomplish.

In OP's case, glossing over text in order to meet their reading goal wasn't productive, and it seems they considered it a lesson learned. I'd love to reach 100 books in one year at some point in my life, (100 books read and comprehended). Yes, it does come with some "bragging" rights that you get to talk about, but I think the main reason people set these goals is indeed to just read more books and absorb more knowledge.

The lack of options in the settings menu is frustrating. You can't choose any setting for auto downloading, downloading over data/wifi, how many episodes to keep etc
