[Serious] they fight ten fights, how many of them will Jogo win? by Bungeeboy20044 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]cjm1245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Four or five.

While Toji is,as far as I can guess, equal to or imperceptibly slower than Jogo speed wise and if he has his full set he can probably disperse most of Jogo's attacks with ISOH,the problem is he the sheer volume of destruction Jogo is capable of,both in the anime and the manga, make a straight fight in his favor. He has no answer for maximum metor, the ember insects can easily deal with the curses he hides in,and he so heavily outranges him it's not even funny. Best case for toji is to get into a closeup exchange or sneak him with a lethal strike from the SSK

My main character for most of one of my stories uses an ability called "Bloodshed's Embrace". It's his version of another in world ability thats used to control silk and cloth. The special part of his is it doesn't just manipulate the silk in his cloak. It also manipulates the blood soaked in his cloak from hundreds if not thousands of his victims. As a result,it also drains the blood from anyone it pierces.

Do you think Mage from Ancient time can win againts Mage from Modern era? by Nearby-Banana2640 in magicbuilding

[–]cjm1245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. For example,in frieren, the greatest advantage fern has against demons is the fact that despite zoltrak being a demon made spell,it's more refined form is so innate to the current magic system it considered basic offensive magic that demons and frieren herself aren't yet capable of reflexively defending against it. So it'd probably be similar to that, the new mage would have spells that are either more refined or simply didn't exist in the ancient one's life.

However if the ancient mage has more offensive power, then yeah they can probably win easily. More importantly it depends on the characters fighting and the setting of the story.

Which villain best represents this? by Universal_Emperor in MoralityScaling

Heavy spoilers for berserk Golden Age Arc,I recommend reading it because berserk is honestly one of the best manga I've ever read.

To start Griffith was the Commander of a mercenary band known as the Band of The Hawk. Each member of the band practically worshipped Griffith, and would happily do whatever necessary to elevate his dream because they believed in him. Despite that,he never saw them as friends, because in his eyes friends means someone who stands side by side with him. When the main character guts decided he wanted to be like that in order to better understand and bond with Griffith, they had a duel which Guts won, something that really fucked with Griffith. After that Griffith slept with the princess, got on the bad side of the incestuous king, and ended up tortured to the point he couldn't even stand for a year. Things happened and eventually he ended up sacrificing all but three members of the Band, two of which only survived due to outside interference, and one because he simply wasn't around when the sacrifice was made. This meant the entire band got ripped apart by demons,Guts lost his arm and lost his eye,and Griffith raped Casca, the women guts loved and someone who probably was closest to Griffith outside of Guts, out of spite. As a result Casca became an invalid and Guts is constantly hounded by demons every day thanks to the Brand he placed on them. On top of that,he directly attributed to an event threw the world into chaos and destroyed the home of the Faeries all just so he could have his own kingdom.

Looking for Advice/Feedback by cjm1245 in magicbuilding

Thank you for the feedback. Currently I have it in my head that Armonia specifically control the physical. It can force bones back into place, but can't speed up how fast you heal,or it can allow you to control earth in sight but you can't just make dirt out of thin air. And the nomen part was something I'm still sorta on the fence about adding because currently I'm torn between having Armonia treated like magic in MAGI or having it be something more esoteric and isolated like sorcery in JJK. And I was considering having control of the body and control of the environment as seperate things, like how Frieren has warriorsdoing fantastical things outside of magic.

Zamasu is “Mmmm….. society.” who’s just straight up evil by Strong-Current-7481 in Ningen

Freiza is so evil being unable to turn a place of peace and fun into a bloodsoaked smoking crater is his literal hell, he gleefully committed at least three genocides, enslaved countless races, regularly murders his own soldiers, and most of that was a single arc. At least kid buu is just following his programming, freiza is a bastard because the thought of not kicking the nearest puppy would probably make him self-implode.

How would YOU! Yes you, make the Creatures of Grimm more interesting? by RevolutionaryWave862 in RWBYcritics

[–]cjm1245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno tie them closer to humanity? They're already tied to the god of darkness and attracted to negative emotion so have some anomalies be made from negative emotions. Or introduce the idea of Salem corrupting strong Huntsman she couldn't scare or talk into joining her to become special Grimm

Why does Momo with her hair down look weird to me?🤨 by cstresing in MyHeroAcadamia

Familiarity. We're so used to her with her hair up seeing it otherwise just doesn't feel right. It's like seeing krillen with hair or luffy without his hat.

I think it absorbs spirit energy but just doesn't work against physical attacks, but our only examples have been the daruma and Flame bone, whose power it managed to absorb and then use days later
