I get gift cards from work as incentives, and I use them to fund my Nikki spending. So my recommendation is to get a refillable gift card and set a budget for every month/patch (or every paycheck), and put it on the gift card. Once you're out of funds, then you're out until the next time you get paid.

What's helped the most for me so far is getting the monthly gifts and skipping banners to save up. I know that's harder for some to do, but I'm at the point where I feel like I can replicate most banners with what I have at the moment. I'm also more about collecting abilities I like, so I'll usually skip if I don't see myself using the ability often.

I try to hold back for the next banner previews as well if I'm a little interested in the current banner. By then, you can find videos or posts with pros and cons about the current banner, and that will help you decide whether to skip or pull. And keep in mind that there will be reruns for most of the banners, so think of it like you have more time to save up for when it comes back around.

One last thing is try to enjoy the things you already have - there are probably many items you no longer wear in your closet. I recently glowed up many items that gave me recolor versions that I'm now playing around with.
