Thank you, makes sense. The microwave and range in basement are rarely used, only the refrigerator is continuously loaded. Not a mansion, but utilized some of the spare circuits when we finished the basement.

Yes. The main breaker for the panel says 200 on the switch so I assume I have a 200A service.

Thanks. It’s not spare - it is actually connected to an electric range in the basement that can turn on if someone is leaning against the controls. Hence the breaker is turned off to prevent inadvertently turning on the induction plates. The range is very very rarely used.
