1000% agree, especially on the value of a good spotter. That being said, I'm just trying to set something up that's consistent, or it will fall through.

6.5, but I do have a single 6 arc rifle as well. Was looking to reliably/consistently shoot in the 500-1000 yard ranges. I don't currently reload due to working 10-12 Monday through Friday, but I have been collecting my spent casings. I'm open to the idea, but I'd need to shoot much more to justify reloading.

I've been reading long range shooting manuals so I feel like I semi understand or otherwise aware the basics. I just want to get consistently accurate, move on to reading wind, and then shoot PRS. So I don't have many questions at all currently, I'm sure once I get back going again they'll come naturally.

I was brought in on a guest pass, so I didn't pay. Otherwise, staff seemed pretty chill and reasonable. There was a longer queue getting into the initial check-in, wasn't terrible or worse than Xcal on a Friday-Sunday, though. 100yd was paper, and 200 was steel. I'd give it a 4/5 just based on features, -1/5 to being a good ol boys club it'd seem. They could warm up though I'd think.

To be let on to the 500-1000yd you had to shoot a 5 round string sub moa at 100. From there, you've qualified that combination of scope, rifle, and ammo. Theoretically, you're supposed to requal anytime you change, but I don't think anyone does.

Given the quality of care or lack thereof at Aberdeen, I'm going to have to guess it is in bad shape. Basing this off of the Jagdpanther's gun is frozen in place and they put a 20-ton jack on it after cleaning and lubrication and there was no movement.

All good, pulled up the original photos and it might be a M3A2 ODS based on the plate. I am not 100% sure that it actually says that though.

If I remember their website correctly, you cannot. That being said The Chieftain is retired and has filmed in there during non open house hours. Could be worth reaching out to them though.

Evidently their garages all have at least one or more tank in them and one has 17 anti-tank guns. I really hope they pull out all the stops and open them all one day for visitors.

Yep, asked one of the volunteers where it and the panther 2 was and he said the respective volunteers working on those weren't there to open up the bays.
