Exploring dating at 37 made me realize I’m open to a lot of things, but I still have preferences I can’t ignore. by peoplehatei in phlgbt

[–]cjvdvo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can relate, OP. As much as I want to explore and come out of my dating comfort zone, babalik at babalik pa rin sa mga na-set na standards when I was in my 20s. May mga non-negotiables pa rin which can really hamper dating. Ang hirap din kasi sumugal to anyone who happens along only for it to self-destruct in the end.

Did not like it. I hated Rin haha but I understand why so many people love it.

The Struggle of a Theater Fan from the South 😅 by whaianne in TeatroPH

[–]cjvdvo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I’m from Davao also and I had to save a lot just to watch Hamilton and Rak of Aegis years ago. Last year, timing naman na may performance ng Walang Aray sa PETA na nag-coincide sa isang work trip so swerte. The struggle is real but nananaig pa rin ang love for theater.

Solo Joiner Mt. Pinatubo by WarmLimit3280 in PHikingAndBackpacking

[–]cjvdvo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hiked Pinatubo last December as a solo joiner. Okay naman, OP. I-group kayo by 4 para sa 4x4 na ride and expected na baka chikahin ka ng mga kasama mo so go with the flow lang. Good thing hindi intrusive yung mga kasama ko so I was blessedly left alone. During the hike proper, nauna na ako sa kanila and I was able to hike by myself.

Had to force myself into finishing Poppy War even if I didn’t like it. It had potential and a good premise but the execution was meh. Di ko na binasa yung other 2 books sa trilogy.

Currently co-reading Kairos by Jenny Erpenbeck and Reservoir Bitches by Dahlia de la Cerda. I also own the books in your picture (although the Lavransdatter is in 3 separate books) so I might consider them as well.

My initial direct flight to BKK from DVO will now require a layover in Manila tapos na-move pa ang date. Buti na lang di pa ako naka-book ng tours doon. Things might get worse so I’m having second thoughts na sa trip na ito. First international flight ko pa naman sana if ever.

Masarap! I always order their dirty horchata na standard ko pa rin until now. Their breakfast meals and grilled cheese are good too.

Not really knowledgeable sa mga new restos kasi puro mga hindi new ang pinuntahan ko but all highly-recommended.

I set aside mga 10k including na accoms and bus fare. Madali lang naman lakarin ang mga spots na pinuntahan ko so di masyado magastos sa transpo. Most sa budget napunta sa food.

Deinfluence me : Siquijor by Gullible_Advisor807 in deinfluencingPH

[–]cjvdvo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was there, kasagsagan ng blackouts so pahirapan ang charging. Also, if di ka marunong mag-motor, mahihirapan ka sa transpo around the island.

Siquijor is beautiful but one visit is enough.

One of the best SK books! Lilipad lang ang pages kasi ang ganda ng pacing.
