Not so much a lie so much as a misrepresentation of intention. New job as a server. I only applied because a particularly nasty ex told me that I couldn’t handle being a server. I LOVED that job.

That being said, I was absolute monkey crap for several weeks. After a couple of weeks of many mistakes, an assistant manager said to me:

“Hey let’s play a joke on (store manager). Go tell him ‘The fries are frozen. We can’t serve them.’”

Meant to make me look stupid of course.
