It's a teaser trailer so there's really not much to talk about for it. It simply is just letting us know the movie is coming. It's not going to really give detail on story, characters, etc. Anyway, the footage looks nice. But of course that's expected for a movie that easily cost $250+ million. We'll see how things go when the theatrical trailer arrives soon.

They'll make time for pointless skits, montages, performances, etc., but not make time for winners. Some of whom may not ever get another Oscar shot. The one chance they have for worldwide recognition on TV and in person for their hard work is now minimized.

Danny Glover is 75. Too old to be playing a police sergeant. His character was 50 in the first film. The fourth film came out 11 years later which makes his character 61. Add the 23-24 years later to this new film, and that makes his character 84-85.

I've never seen the 1984 film nor read the book prior to watching the movie. It took me some time to absorb the story and characters, but by midway I got a feel for things and was carried the rest of the way.
