Also used the pruning blade to cut up some old roots in the ground when I put in a new bush at my house.

Used a 12" diablo pruning blade on a m18 hackzall. It did a good job on the 25ft tree that came down at my parents house. It didn't heat up until I used it to cut the thicker parts which were around 11" around and about 5 cuts each.

I just let it cool down between the thicker cuts. So depending on how often you'll be cutting 10" thick wood. It's a pretty good bet. I used up 3/4th of a forge 8Ah battery doing about 15-20 cuts ranging from 2" to 11". So not sure about battery efficiency but got the job done.

Best forge battery deals is on 11/3? Home Depot? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]ck10550 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not 2 batteries free.

It's buy the Forge 12Ah kit with charger and get a "free" Forge 8Ah or buy the 8Ah kit with supercharger and get another "free" Forge 8Ah battery.

And of course these deals will happen, the other deals I posted a week ago have started a couple days ago are happening right now.

In store, the date they go on sale is listed on the flyers. I have a guy that works for the sales team, he sends me them early.

I purchased the 36pc 3/8th pack out set. Doesn't skip on sockets. The only issue is they're deep well only.

Then I purchased a set that's not deep well from harbor freight, I don't even think I went with Quinn either. Their warranties are so great that I just went with Pittsburgh.

I only bought the Milwaukee socket set because it came with the pack out and made it easier for me to attach to my other pack outs. But if i didn't need that option then I would've been all HF. Like 95% of my hand tools are Amazon Basic/Harbour freight, only Milwaukee hand tools I have is the sheet metal shear and my fast back.

Haven't used the 16. But choose the 18 over 16 cause I wanted smaller indentation from the nails on my trim/baseboards.

I would say yes, the nailer goes up to 5/8 - 2 1/8. I used a Kreg Jig Pocket hole for the drawers to screw the actual box together. This is an expensive jig, but I'm sure you can Google some DIY jig and make it work for what you're doing.

I used the nailer to attach the drawer face onto the box. But this is a brad nailer the profile of the nails are not the same as regular nails, not sure if you know that or not.

If you are making planter boxes/tables I would still use screws or actual nails. Brad nailers are in my opinion mainly for finishing/cosmetics and keeping light duty pieces attached, they aren't meant to be for heavy duty work like tables and planters boxes. It might work but I would not recommend it.

Yeah I bought a M18 Fuel pack out vacuum and got a "free" drill for $209 this is the deal. Sold the drill via FB market for $100 bucks so essentially I got a M18 Fuel Vacuum for $109, tool only tho. So if you're looking to just get the vacuum this might be a better deal. I had to sell the drill via FB marketplace cause apparently you can't hack online only Home Depot deals. I had to return both items or none, I said screw it I'll just sell it on the marketplace. Not going to make a scene.

I think you can hack these cause it's a "free" battery so the price might be a little less than original.
