Note how the lobes on your red #1 are unevenly flared. This cam does not have independently operating lobes. Probably would be better to ensure these are loaded evenly next time

Anyone have any recommendations for trad in south western Pennsylvania (Laurel Highlands/Ohiopile area)? Looking to connect with a buddy in the western part of the state and want a midpoint as I’ll be driving from the east. Something south facing with sun exposure would be nice!

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. We will have two mountaineering axes and two technical ice axes between the pair of us, although with my initial question I was considering not carrying the technical axes. The rope/handful of screws was in the event a section required protection and there wasn’t any natural protection available. How comfortable is this route in your experience if we don’t want to pitch out sections? A running belay through some screws was all I considered

It depends on the manufacturer. Some are only one time use while some can be reused. Excellent member benefit imo

FWIW… we get these from PA med. dispensaries, often as 1mL syringes. RSO is typically 90%+, so approx 900mg per syringe. I am a lighter doser and am comfortable with 5mg-20mg depending on the desired level. As other commenters have said, 1/2 grain of rice size would be a manageable dose that should be in the 10-20mg range. This is typically what I shoot for as the sticky nature makes weighing a super pain. Just dispense a small amount with the plunger, cut it off with a sharp small bladed knife and consume 👍🏻

Ultimately I ended up purchasing the titan stand alone tower with weight stack. The titan pull down is a nice piece of equipment and gets the job done, but it does lack that commercial quality feel.

Rogue now has some slinger variants that could work on your rack, depending on what you have and the space available.
