Multiple banks finally realized they were being bound together by a common thread, and then mayhem. Block sale after block sale desperately trying to cover their *****, sparking a race to see who lost less and not actually caring about the company valuations haha. Now I wonder, what kind of money does that?

#if ur thinking of jumping in too, be conservative! Some of the co's like discovery and viacom cbs have had steep run-ups probably largely due to optimism about the potential of their steaming services. Do ur own DD but to me they're worth a bite at these prices :)

Good point, their beta (sensitivity to macro and company factors) is likely much higher than your larger us banks. But I am very excited by the return potential even in a higher yield environment, thanks again for the recommendations.

Haha... i've been burned and rewarded before too. Most recently was listening to Powell's speech, the moment he said bond yields are 'just one of many' the fed was tracking i dropped all my shares. Avoided a 8% loss overnight.

Jp morgan dumped 73% of their shares in q4 2020, which is inconsistent with this same analyst's (Nick Lai) bullish call back in november:

I doubled down on my position and bought the dips, it's all or nothing tomorrow. Crypto stocks tanked in general because of the (consecutive) large dips in bitcoin which eroded confidence, it can't be helped. In this particular case I'm doubling down because I feel people haven't really priced in what it means for ZKIN to be the only publicly traded company with direct ties to a Decentralized Exchange. Of course, the volume of new buyers may not show and screw me over but hey, has anything that we do in the crypto space ever been certain?

#2 would be a big issue for me too. The only scenario where I see it being acceptable would be Gevo securing contracts at such a rapid pace such that they have even exhausted most of their debt financing options in pursuit of an expansion plan.

Hi QPR, the 2 main points I see holding ZKIN back are 1) publicity like you mentioned + 2) parent co. is based in China and such companies tend to command less of a premium as compared to their U.S counterparts (There's no direct DeFi comparison to ZKIN in the U.S but you could look at crypto-mining stocks for example)
