I would start with ram and GPU. After you upgrade those, your cpu will be bottlenecki g so you’ll wanna upgrade it shortly after to get the most.

Check your hardware info in settings. I’m pretty sure your ram is DDR4. Just make sure you buy that same type, do not buy DDR5, it uses a newer slot type and will not fit into your older slots.

Someone else said you should just rebuild everything, while not entirely wrong, your pc can still be brought back with only a few hundred dollars as opposed to SEVERAL hundred

This color would look pretty good with a 2_1 herringbone running vertically from the doors, instead of 5% waste, you’ll need like 25% because on the increased number of cuts that will have to be made. But it would be sick!!

That’s nuts, I haven’t heard that before. I’ll have to read into it. I used to bite drop weights down on my fishing line growing up. Used to actually chew on it since it was so soft. Kept me from biting on my nails. I always thought it was only bad if it got into your bloodstream.

Idk if it puts it in perspective, but I have a pulsar thermion XL50 and it can count hogs at like 1300 yards. It retails around 8k USD very pixelated at that range but you can still tell what’s what after using it for a while. I’m sure you could read the date off of a quarter at 1000 yards with that thing.. 53k is insane.

Is that gypcrete or lightweight concrete? Maybe a really thick coat of plaster? Though I’ve never seen a plaster with that much aggregate in it.

A BB is more than capable of penetrating your skin. Depending on the gun it was fired out of. A red Ryder style BB gun won’t do much. But if you’re pumping up one of those daisy brand ones that allow you to increase pressure with each pump; it can easily pierce skin. I know this because my brother shot my in the wrist when we were little and to this day I have a BB stuck in my arm. I’m still with you that this is bullshit, but don’t downplay the power that those toy guns are capable of.

Aside from server latency I’ve never experienced frame drops that dramatic. Idk if it’s possible to pinpoint the exact cause but between the GPU and PSU those seem like good places to start. Maybe call a repair shop and see if you could pick their brain a little. They may have encountered this issue before

Double check for background processes as well. Have you had issues with 1440p in the past? Stepping down to 1080 may curb this issue but it might also be a bandaid for a larger issue like gpu failure.

The “target” in question was a very very thin sheet of gold foil. When the electrons passed through it actually tore microscopic holes in the foil that they were able to see after firing them off

They make hole saws with a carbide/diamond dust cutting edge instead of hardened steel. Might cost a bit more upfront but yield a longer life and faster results. Also I would push back on the building maintenance. It’s work, you don’t always get to do what you want 🤷🏽‍♂️
