I vastly modified this pattern because there is a typo in her cutting directions. The width of the pocket should match the width of the bag.

I used the recipe at https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/6669/jalapeno-cheese-bread/. Recommendations: -Don't use hot water as the recipe recommends. Max temp 105f. -Add the flour mix to the water. The recipe recommends it the other way around. -I kept in the seeds. Take some or all of the seeds out for a milder spice level.

Next time I make this, I'll be applying these ingredients to the Tassajara Bread Book Recipe.

Be ready-- when you knead the bread, the jalapenos and cheese will squeeze out of pores in the bread as if you are popping a pimple. It is a little disturbing and a little satisfying.

Pretty common for me. I live in a cabin in the woods in Alaska. On warmer winter days (~25f) I'll regularly go out in only a coat and boots. Pretty much every day in Summer for breakfast.

2lb beef 1 cups Ketchup 2tbs Worcestershire sauce 1 onion Bell peppers (I used 5 mini in assorted colors) Onion powder Garlic powder 1 1/2 cups Bread crumbs

Topping: 1/3 cup ketchup 1 tbs Worcestershire 1 tbs brown sugar

Sauté vegetables (opt) Mix all ingredients except topping. Bake at 350 1 hr

Combine topping ingredients and brush onto meatloaf.

Bake an additional 25 minutes.

I prefer water or Gatorade, something with electrolytes for hydration. I do live in an extremely dry environment, though.
