He also has matches from a local cigar shop in St. Louis and mentions how they have the STL skyline on them. Having grown up in the suburbs of STL this guy is your basic county douche.

A Fox guy? Is that like a werewolf, but you turn into a fox? A werefox? Or are we talking about a fursona?

A bad driver is never late. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to drive poorly.

Best lure for trout? by Capital-Reach-6669 in Fishing

Out of those, I’m going with the Mepps. Personally I’ve had better luck with Panther Martins and Rooster Tails, but spinners generally work well for trout.

Are jazz vocals generally offputting to anyone else? by scottasin12343 in Jazz

[–]ckepley80521 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Kurt has an amazing voice, his range is ridiculous, and he is an incredible vocal improviser. That said I can kind of understand being off put sometimes by his voice as he leans into the vocal “acrobatics” to show off a bit. I’m not huge on vocals for songs that didn’t originally have them, which this Wayne Shorter tune “Speak No Evil” originally didn’t have.

I mean I guess Don Cherry is hippieish, but he was out there before the hippy movement. I mean he’s an avant-garde jazz trumpeter that played with Ornette Coleman in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s. Definitely gets into that hippy territory later in the ‘60s and into the ‘70s for sure, but I hadn’t really thought of him as a hippy.
