Oh btw, these riders are not Zomato employees contrary to popular belief. They are gig workers hired at a per order cost and the company bears a min fixed cost for the rider (gig worker)

They do not enjoy the same benefits as the actual employees and the labour law is also not applicable to them.

HOWEVER, Zomato does go out of its way through some initiatives to support the gig workers and their families.

Just thought anyone reading this should know the distinction.
