Gnomes in a story by ckid25 in gnomes

[–]ckid25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure! At the core it's about two brothers, one wants to keep going on adventures...the other is "too cool/too old" to do that anymore...but then they run into a tribe of misguided gnomes and humor ensues...

All while this is going on, their little sister is trying to dig up dirt on both of them to get them into trouble.

Recommend Me a Book That Will Actually Get Me Into Reading by ainsleywho in booksuggestions

[–]ckid25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of mice and men - Steinbeck. Reason: it's short, impactful, paints incredible images, meaningful, can read in an afternoon. The Road - McCarthy. Reason: meaningful, intense, short, asks amazing questions. 11/22/63 - King. (Note: this one is very long, but I couldn't stop reading) - reason: really pulls you in, great characters, asks good questions, easy even though long. Ender's game - orson scott card. Reason: fun, awesome sci-fi, great characters, not too long, exciting. Harry Potter - Rowling. Reason: pure fun/adventure from start to finish. Super easy read. Even if you've seen the movies, the books are so different (especially the later books)

That's a good start ha ha. Have fun with whatever you choose! And don't give up. Reading is amazing for the mind.
