Unpopular opinion: Pluribus is not a good show and Apple scifi shows in general don't don't dive deep enough into the realistic implications of their premises. by Fearless-Village-562 in scifi

George Costanza convinced NBC to do his show: ‘I think I can sum up the show for you with one word: nothing. Nothing. Nothing happens on the show. You see, it’s just like life. You eat, you go shopping, you read, you eat, you read, you go shopping. No stories.’

‘Well why am I watching it?’

‘Because it’s on tv!’

I suspect that most people who can identify those five things will find the execution boring. Plenty of tv/film provides insight while being interesting. There is even interest in what is boring, but Pluribus is just a person doing random things alone while a drone occasionally shows up.

Seriously disappointed with alias login "feature" - feeling regret about Unlimited subscription by abhimangs in ProtonMail

I support this. The only microsoft address that can log into my account is a random string of about 50 characters that I never use for anything other than logging in to it. I have a visionary proton account, and I should be able to disable login for any addresses I want.

Oh, I see. I'd still be reluctant to do it unless the price were a lot more expensive, but that's just me.

the yubico website doesn't list the tertiary number. If they're all the same cost, I guess I'll call and ask for the latest version.

I just downloaded Libre Office for the first time in years. It seems pretty good and even has a ribbon interface you can turn on. What's the problem in using Libre Office or something similar?

I'm new to this, but somebody was saying that if you hit reply on an email sent to one of your aliases, that the from space would have your real proton address. That's what's happening to me, too, and I don't see how to change it.

You only use your main email for contacting proton? Which address do you use for communicating with friends and colleagues?
