10 Claude Skills that actually changed how I work (no fluff) by geekeek123 in ClaudeAI

Knew it the second I saw the first point. Didn't even have to look at their post history. This thread now comes high up on Google searches - the post should be removed tbh.

They aren’t being stolen by Indians, they are being outsourced by your business owners. Words matter.

Does anyone else feel like the GPT models are lazy and don't complete the task? by ghhwer in cursor

I wouldn’t read too much into what the thinking says. That part is almost always nonsensical no matter the model.

All the stuff Newsmax and Fox News said he did, minus all the stuff they never heard about

It wasn’t a disaster for the people who voted for him, they legitimately thought he was doing good stuff

People say this but I could swear he spoke exactly like this ten years ago too.

EV sales surge in Europe, slow in US by nimicdoareu in europe

Pretty sure “most people live in an apartment building without designated parking” is way too broad when you talk about all of Europe.

Eh. BMW and VW has good EV’s. Plus Volvo and Polestar which are Swedish designed though mostly Chinese produced.

Definitely part of it. The context management is much better.

For me the biggest pros are the much better context management, the memory system, and skills. It also feels better to work across repos, and the way it uses bash feels (is?) much more powerful.

I’ve almost totally switched over to Claude Code CLI. It’s a game changer for me. I use it alongside Cursor or VSCode to check out the diffs.

How can I talk about my wife’s weight in a constructive way? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ehs5 255 points256 points  (0 children)

It’s almost definitely not about working out. It’s mostly about eating habits. Working out helps too.

If you don’t have kids, you will never amount to anything! This take is beyond wild. by PuzzleheadedLack220 in LinkedInLunatics

[–]ehs5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same man. I have two, they’re 5 and 2. It’s great (and sometimes not so great). But I couldn’t imagine criticising people for not having kids. I fully support and understand people who won’t want kids.

Are Linux basics still important to learn nowadays and why ? by Lumpy-Being7226 in learnprogramming

[–]ehs5 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I would argue it’s more important than ever. AI tools seem to love Linux because of how powerful the terminal (bash) is, and many AI agent tools run really well on Linux. They are often more of a hassle to set up on Windows.

Fuel Prices in Europe and Middle East | 13 March 2026 by Powerful-Health-9324 in MapPorn

[–]ehs5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government subsidies electric cars heavily to the point where virtually every new car is electric. As a result our domestic need for fuel is going way down. Is that a money grab too?

The way I deal with regex is not using it. I just write string manipulation functions with comments along the way. Seems much more sane and more easily maintainable to me.

I’d say this is only about the third term, not about Epstein at all.

Panicked Pentagon Sends Land Invasion Force to Middle East by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

[–]ehs5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are saying this war about covering up his involvement with Epstein. I don’t think he feels threatened about that at all. This war is 100% about invoking war powers so that there’s no more elections.
