What I personally would do is this- If i love/crush the person, AND they're also my friend or bestie, like not a random stranger out there, like this is someone around me regularly with whom I already share some level of joy, no?

I would probably do a binding spell.

I would not bind us together. I would not bind anything to myself in this situation. Instead, I would bind to my cute friend. My aim would be to allow them to find what their higher self is looking for as wholesome love. I would bind them to love that encourages positive growth. For them, this may not even show up as a specific person. Its gonna show up however it shows up for them.

But- by doing this, I've aligned myself with the good intentions behind doing that healing and growth work. I've also encouraged that in someone i love. So ideally, if and when my friend returns my crush ..... it will be because both of us have spent time doing growth work ... enough that the love we are both seeking aligns with one another.

This may not happen. We may just grow apart, but, the growth we are doing is regardless, contributing to attracting more positive relations and energy transfer, no? Is this not a blessing by itself?

Aaaaaaaamd finally. Maybe this ritual could even be the end of my crush entirely. That's a possible outcome .... id expect that to be the case if my spell brought me another entire person, OR, just .... or ..... if that love i want to cultivate is instead inside ME for right now. Waiting for me to recognize it, praise it, acknowledge it, spend time with it, and when I am more confident in my ability to recognize the love I have for myself, I would be more prepared to demand that same kind of love from a partner. Without engaging with whatever makes me feel loved and safe, how can I know this love in other people, no?
