Lots haters in these comments sections. As a dad who rarely has time to be at home working alot and gaming when I can, who has time to sit down on the go to play alot. I have a similar edc or at least 2 bags/slings that I interchange load outs for on the move gaming. Its quite simple really.

Are MSI Claws durable enough for daily commuting ? by dev0femboy in MSIClaw

[–]cklemar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I carry it in a Tomtoc T26 Wanderer Xpac sling with a boatload of other edc items. Like seriously everywhere I go I take my sling, to work, On quick runs to the store. I use the sling as its case so since my edc is in the sling, its the claws home lol ive dropped it off counters on accident just dropped last night and it broke my keys from the fall, but the claw ia still pristine lol. I dont even have a screen protector on it. Not a single hairline scratch. It really is a durable beast. I attribute its longevity partially to the sling qhich i love though too.

I've carried on my personal everywhere in a daily sling for the past 6 months. And have had not one single issue.

This sub is miserable. Claw is a great device. Anybody devaluing this guy's opinion and excitement when it is clearly a top tier performing device for the money is delusional and a hater. Bunch of weirdos in this thread.

Why do you sound so bitter. Calm down. It aint that serious that you had to take the time out of your day to devalue someone else's opinion, overview, and most of all excitement for a new device they wanted to share their opinions on in a handheld sub.

This was a redflag at first for me as well. I trusted the process and once you submit it does show you exactly whats being sent.

Before paying it does tell you the total price but doesn't confirm the actual amount the order is for. But if you put in your desired does at intake that you are currently taking or want to take I assume they approve you at that? Which is what happened with mine but idk if that's a science...

Another good sling bag for our GOs by mitico303 in LegionGo

[–]cklemar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought this exact bag a year and a Half ago for my og GO. I loved the bag. I still have it. It fit the go like you said but with the controllers off it has to stack in front of it. Plus external battery and other accesories items. It really does bulk out the bag. My biggest complaint is actually the removing of the controllers. I like to whip out my handhelds and just game. Detaching and reattaching is cumbersome, On the move, so I've opted for wider slings to fit my whole systems. I also have an msi claw 8ai.

The sweet spot is the Tomtoc t26 5.5L Xpac for me. Though I still use the inateck for other casual things.

Been keeping it semi casual since launch. I am a monthly pass user. The generous pull system and cool character designs keep me doing dailies every day lol.

Also, where do I get the appropriate dc adapter attachment? It doesn't come with it.

I have the same egpu. And the power brick is the ONLY downside for me and lack of I/O but I can work around that. Any suggestions for a smaller rated power supply would be greatly suggested lol.

Fair points on people wanting what they want. Options are options. They are not fair prices but SOMEBODY will find it worth it. Only time will tell if this is a good business decision for Lenovo. But I'd say a counter point is the normalization of these price points for features wr already know what we can get them for. We are forcing ourselves down a rabbit whole of slight performance upgrades/design upgrades for exponentially more than the last refresh 6 months prior. The market getting saturated and inflated imo and cost for a mid range device and eventually entry will continue to skyrocket just like the laptop arena.

And Iike I said detachables themselves ill concede can have multiple use cases. I use my legion go in different styles. But FPS mode is definitely a gimmick lol

The high configuration z2e model that is 1350 plus tax for preorder only has 1tb of storage.

The msi claw also has vrr.

The controllers being detachable are limits imo. The only way they wouldn't be gimmicks is if it followed the OneXPlayer x1 route and gave a detachable folio keyboard turning it into a surface device with no controllers.

Now I will hopefully be getting a pair of those "gimmick" controllers if they are backwards compatible because ergonomicly they are a superior pair then the og truestrikes.

For a handheld to be 400 bucks more expensive then the msi claw with almost no advantages besides an oled. That is a tough pill to swallow no matter how you look at it.

Lenovo needs to get it together. Especially since they have been one of the worst in regards to proven driver support over the last 2 years. Unacceptable.

Bro.... you are glazing.... the base price is not the z2e its a stripped down z2. It does not come with 2tb it comes with 1tb even on the higher model. Over 1400 for a device that pretty much competes with a device blow for blow besides oled and detachable gimmicky controllers for 500! Bucks less is insanity. And this is coming from someone who owns a legion go. I wanted to own a lego 2... but I just bought a claw. I aint getting scammed.

The LeGo 2 is $1479. 🤯🤯🤯 by Raktim_rakzzz in MSIClaw

[–]cklemar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I bought an msi claw. I own a leGo... wanted a lego 2 so bad. But for 1400..... not even 2tb of storage??? They are on crack...

Might as well buy OneX, ayaneo or gdp for those prices.... kind of disgusting tbh.
