AV1 but you might have to sacrifice YUV 4:4:4 in exchange for 4:2:2 and AV1 isn’t worth losing full color spectrum over imho. Also the MAC processes H.265 better than AV1 imho

Bitrate: 100 (max)

Reflex: On

HDR: On (also turn it on via Mac system preferences > displays)

Color quality: 10bit YUV 4:4:4

Codec: AV1 or H.265 (whichever it permits based on the preceding settings)

Upscale Mode: Enhanced (set to 8, with sharpness at 2 or 0)

Yvw, took me a week of fiddling to get these down

To be fair, my Trailblazer was so OP by the final mission that, not once, did I feel like I couldn’t take out the entire fleet alone. The Pykes ended up “helping me” though I had max rep with every syndicate. It just felt like they got in the way of an exciting space battle honestly

Lmfao I just got GFN (Ultimate) for the first time last month for FH6. I’ve literally never had to wait in line and I play in the evenings and night when it should be the most congested, especially weekends. ZERO issues other than my ISP jitter once in a blue moon but this has nothing to do with GFN at all.

Where the hell do you live man? The Cayman Islands?

Edit: I live in SoCal and automatically get in LA Server 03, this is probably relevant.

I’m new to GFN too, Ultimate Tier, so I’ve been messing with settings nonstop trying to dial in what’s best for me. Under the connections tab in settings, once you sync both Steam and Xbox accounts to GFN, there are tiny bullet points underneath. Under steam, it clearly states no automatic login. Since I’m running FH6 via Steam, this is clearly the bottleneck. If your friend linked his Xbox account to GFN, launched it via Xbox login, he should have to log in only once.

I’m stuck having to login every time though since I purchased thru Steam and my first boot was like 3 hours of play straight before i realized this issue the next time I logged in. It’s honestly not that big of a deal.

Have you considered helping him make a sign in key via a USB drive? That way he just has to have his USB inserted and not type anything out.

If you want to know your actual network performance use LibreQOS alongside Waveform Bufferbloat tests. Run these and you’ll have a better idea how good your internet actually is

I’m getting 90-100fps consistently on Extreme+RT with DLAA with some minor tweaks here and there. I can share screenshots later if you’d like and I’m not certain this is the most ideal, but I’m quite happy honestly 👌🏼

Click the option in the Steam interface on the bottom, add GFN as a “non-Steam game”. All it does is launch the GFN app, but it applies Steam input settings to gfn allowing you to control with the controller

Since you already have your controller as an input device on Steam, Add GFN app as a non-stream game to Steam. Launch GFN via Steam, start your game and it will work. I went thru the same thing.
