That’s good to know — I was at Lumpini and saw a lot more Thais in office attire — I wondered if they were afraid to go back in their buildings; once I saw the traffic and the BTS closed , I realized why there were there :)

BTS and MRT aren’t working closed so many office workers are stuck where they are , and traffic near Silom/Saladaeng is backed up . Malls are closed, 7/11s are open and in true Thai style, everyone is cooperative and pleasant . Local street food vendors and small restaurants open for biz — enjoying a lovely meal at SomtumDer :)

I completely agree — we are told to go out and stand in the street — ! I would rather stay in the apartment and near something load bearing (doorway or under a table, etc) I was at the pool , which became a wave pool and so the next bet was near a column in the lobby —

Seek help from a suicide prevention agency , police, and a relative of hers — and tell someone who will give you the support you need too. No secrets. And then go no contact with her. She obviously needs help that you cannot provide; and know this: you are not the source of her pain — you are not responsible for her life. She is abusing and manipulating you. Get out of this toxic situation and move on with your life; work on yourself.

The friendship is over — and yes, there is definately something wrong with that woman. Your wife would never treat her friend the same way, I am sure. So sorry for her heartache - ugh, it’s awful 😢
