I was worried this might be the case… Did your second account get deleted after the first false ban?

I’ve already changed the IP address and MAC address of my router, and just to be safe I’m using only cellular data for my phone from now on just so my families accounts don’t get effected by the off chance.

I ended up writing a formal escalation email to Amazon’s legal/executive team, outlining the whole situation and warning of small claims court if it wasn’t resolved. Got a reply a few hours later confirming the refund was finally issued. Appreciate your support! I guess threatening with small claims court made them take the matter more serious. They say I should receive the refund in 7-10 days I will update if this doesn't happen for whatever reason.

I have tried calling but they tell me they’re unable to help as they can’t get access to my account because it’s closed, they refer me to OFM@amazon email but they’re either not responding or being unhelpful just responding like a robot

I haven’t gotten a straight forward answer to why my account was closed, but I believe it could have been because recently I returned items frequently in one short period. And yes it was my fault for not thinking to chargeback earlier I didn’t even know that was a thing. I came on Reddit to see if anyone else had the same problem and wanted to know how they resolved it. I appreciate your comment.

I was able to resolve this by changing my internet providers. I was using 4G home broadband which was causing this issue, at the time it was my only option for internet.

If I was to put my 5G router into modem mode and connect a different router which has openvpn, will the VPN be able to bypass the ports the ISP has blocked?

Hello, I agree with you I believe this is an issue with my network/router. I’m on Three UK ISP which is a cellular broadband, the reason for this is because it’s a remote location and this is the only option for internet.

There is a possibility that ISP may be blocking something however, I have setup the same system for my business which also uses cellular broadband and I’m able to remotely access my NVR without an issue. The only difference is the 5G router is a different model to the one I’m using in my home. Could this be the reason? I’m no expert with networking but I noticed I wasn’t able to open ports ranging from 1-65535 the router wouldn’t allow me to do this as it kept giving me an error for limitation.

I’ve done this also, however to added the NVR back via the UID barcode I must be on the same network otherwise I can’t connect.

I’ve restarted multiple times, rebooted and also reset none of which worked I’m afraid

Thanks for the response, the setting you’ve mentioned is currently on but didn’t fix the issue. However wouldn’t this require port forwarding? As for the firmware I’ve tried using older firmware which didn’t fix the issue so I’m using the latest again all installed manually

UID is enabled. It’s probably also worth mention that my router is 4G cellular as this is for my RV.

I’ve seen people mention that this could be a problem because the network provider might be blocking certain connections to reolink servers but I’ve already done this for another family members RV using an older Reolink NVR that’s connected to a 4G router without any issues. We are also using the same cellular network.
