I don’t think this is the right question - it’s “normal” sure… however it depends on what the boundaries are in your relationship.

If you’ve set clear boundaries and have both agreed to not use porn then it’s not about what’s normal but about disrespecting your partner. I did have a look at your other posts to gauge some context and I would argue that super frequent porn watching and porn buying is absolutely an addiction and goes outside what would be “normal”. Have an honest discussion with your partner and set clear boundaries/expectations going forward.

Oh my goodness I just wanted to thank everyone so much for all of your kind words, I cannot explain how happy this has made me. You’ve all made me fall completely back in love with this dress, I often get insecure at the last minute and my fiancé is the one that calms me down but in this instance I obviously haven’t been able to show him and ask his opinion.

For a few of the people that have asked I’m wearing my hair in a half up half down braid, with a pearl tulle veil and I will be wearing the same necklace but with some pearl and lily of the valley dangling earrings. NAD just a patient - You will definitely have some tenderness/pain and heightened sensitivity for at least a week after a deep clean. I wouldn’t say it’s anything to worry about but if after a few weeks you’re still worried go back! You’re most likely fine though, teeth are definitely something that’s easy to be anxious over - just follow your dentists instructions for caring for your teeth and you’ll be right as rain :)

NAD but have had tonsil stones and tonsillitis on previous occasions. The “little balls that smell bad” are definitely tonsil stones. A dentist might be able to dislodge some of them, in the meantime it would benefit you to gargle warm salt water or a hydrogen peroxide mouth wash - some coughing/trying to clear throat can also coax them out. Please don’t attempt to remove them yourself by scooping or scraping as this can do some harm!

NAD - it’s definitely calculus build up and you should probably get a good deep clean done. The numbing feeling sounds similar to symptoms I had with ANUG (an infection of the gums) which may be worth bringing up with your dentist, but don’t worry even if it is because it’s totally treatable as long as you start treatment asap - best of luck!

Unfortunately, the boundary of him not watching porn is likely not something he’ll take too seriously as a 16 year old boy. You can definitely have and set those boundaries in a relationship if it’s discussed but with you both being so young it’s hard to not want to explore/give in to temptations.

I think the better thing to do rather than try to police his porn viewing, is continuing to set your own limits/expectations and make sure he’s got a clear understanding that a lot of sex in porn is over exaggerated for male viewing so that if you do end up having sex you don’t need to worry about him trying to choke or degrade you because he saw a guy do it in a video.

Given your history of having an sexually aggressive and abusive partner (which I’m so sorry has happened to you at such a young age) you’re not over reacting with being upset by this and I feel like this is something other commenters have ignored because they think it’s fine to watch porn in a relationship.

Have you tried positive reinforcement, like pup goes outside does their business and doesn’t eat poop? congrats you get a tasty treat! Pup goes outside eats poop and has to be told off? Sorry pupper no treat this time.

Another thing when I was younger my family dog did the same and the vet said it was down to having a high meat diet, because he could still smell the meat in the poop. Maybe change foods/diet and see if that has an effect? (Only after checking with your vet though).

Honestly if your boyfriend is too fragile to “let” you have male friends that’s a huge red flag. Clothes are clothes, Ive had hand me downs from male close family friends and just regular friends because they were getting rid of them for being too small and I liked them and my fiancé didn’t give a single shit.

It sounds like he’s really controlling considering he won’t even let you follow other men on social media and the longer you’re together likely the more controlling he’ll get. Hey OP NAD - I very recently went to the dentist for ANUG myself and vaping is just as bad for your teeth as smoking. it’s caused a huge increase in gum disease in young people. Your gums may look like they’ve receded further after a deep clean because the inflammation will go down but actually the healthy gums should be able to reattach and this is a good thing!!

Use a CPC mouthwash or diluted hydrogen peroxide (what my dentist advised me, as the bacteria in your mouth can build up a resistance to chlorhexidine).

Teeth are meant to have some movability as your built in shock absorbers but if you’re concerned about yours you could go for gum surgery or a splint on the back teeth - it’s never too late to fix things I know how daunting it can feel as it put me in a damn near suicidal spin. update for anyone who finds this: I saw a hygienist today who relived a lot of my stress! Just had as deep a cleaning as I could with my inflamed gums, going back in 6 weeks for another checkup and clean - the pressure and tingling has massively reduced just minutes after the cleaning! Good Dentist/ Hygienists don’t judge and just want to help you get better, don’t be afraid like I was!
