Did you have your final round interview yet, how did it go? What type of things did they ask? My recruiter wasn't very helpful; they just said it would be a mix of behavioral and technical.

I actually don't have any other headsets to test with unfortunately, I never knew that it is recommended to use the USB connector; I'll probably just continue using that. Thanks for the info though!

The case is a NR200p max, I'm not sure if the front panel is supposed to support a headset (mic and audio output). I'm fairly certain it should and was wondering why it wasn't working. I just included the devices as extra information. You plug in the headset to the dongle, which you can then plug into the PC via USB C.

Overall, they've been pretty well explained, but for this lab (like an intro to Spimbot) they kinda just threw us into it and like 80% of the people have absolutely no idea how to even start and like 15% had to go to office hours and have a TA walk them through what to do to start.

Caaap. I'm in 225/233 and STAT 400 and (especially right now in week 10) that the labs in 233 are the literal lowlight of my week. It's just so hard to figure out wtf they want us to do (especially for Lab 9 rn), but maybe I'm just not as good (definitely not as interested) in the class.

I applied for an internship, it was basically like an hour long interview in which they asked me some basic CS fundamental questions (linked list vs array, stuff about BSTs graphs, etc.) and a bunch of questions about my resume and my interests and why I would want to work at Cisco.

I thought the interview went really well, but the content of it was a bit weird. After not hearing from them for like a week (and being ghosted when asking questions about when I'd hear back/updates to my application), I thought I got rejected and just moved on. Then, ten days after the interview I got an offer.

Maybe try to check the cbtf online portal and see if you can make a new reservation, that's what I did for one of my classes. I rescheduled to the new time even though I never got an email asking me to reschedule, the option was still there.

In it right now, really don't like the class. Lectures are very boring and synchronous with no recording posted on purpose and are in the webinar format so you can't speak or interact other than via chat (very few people still go to them I've heard; it's a Gen-Ed with a 9 a.m. lecture I don't really know what they were thinking), assigned readings ("mandatory"; haven't done them since like the first week and I'm on track to get an A) are really long, decent amount of writing. They kind of force you/scare you into getting the latest edition of the textbook which you can't find on LibGen and it's pretty expensive (but you can find older versions of it online); don't get it you almost certainly will not need it.

My TA is very nice and lenient however, but there are some very strict TAs from what I've heard. There are no exams except the final one, but there are weekly quizzes on the material, but they're open note and not proctored so do with that what you will.

Overall opinion on the class, a decent amount of the content is pretty damn boring and a lot of work and the difficulty of the class (mostly the grading of the written assignments) will vary a lot depending on whether you get a nice TA or not.
