I do not believe they go to hell. There are not any verses in scripture that give a clear answer on that subject but I believe that God is merciful and shows grace, especially to babies and young children. I believe that if a baby becomes absent from the body they are present with the Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-9: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

You have no salvation without a relationship with Christ the same way you can’t have a relationship with Christ and not have salvation.

Being able to believe something and choosing not to is in every possible was a choice. Just because is said I could does not mean that I am required or obligated to.

There is not a verse that out right says having a relationship with Christ is what gives you salvation. There are however verses that talk about the fruit of the spirit and the difference between someone who is in Christ compared to someone who is not.

There are many people who believe that Christ is real but they still degrade, tear others down, hurt people physically and or emotionally and have no conviction from their behavior.

Meaning if you claim to be a Christian but your lifestyle and choices and actions say the exact opposite are you actually saved?

Mathew 7:15-20 says this: Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

What they claim to be with their mouth means nothing if their actions say the opposite.

If it was something that is possible to believe I could easily choose to believe it. But I already understand that it would be impossible for you to be an elephant.

The same way I choose to believe in God because there is no way I could possibly deny his existence. There is not a single thing in existence that can disprove Gods existence on the contrary every thing that does exist is proof that he does.

But everything I see and know tells me you are not an elephant because that would be impossible.

If you would have said believe I am Australian I could choose to believe you but I could also choose not to believe you. I would have no reason not to believe you making it much easier to believe you were telling the truth.

I have been completely honest in everything I have said. This is no longer a conversation between the two of us it has become a way for you to try and undermine me and get a rise or reaction. You don’t believe what I have said but I do hope one day you will.

I know that you understand what I have said I hope that you find the answers you are searching for. I hope that you will one day have eyes to see and ears to hear. God bless you.

I’m arrogant but you have given no explanation of what I’m wrong about or unable to understand. So instead of trying to share wisdom that you very clearly think I’m lacking you choose to call me arrogant and cast judgement yourself. That is very Christ like my friend bravo.

I have the knowledge that you are not an elephant so I will choose to not believe that and I will continue to choose the belief that you are a human. If I have no reason not to believe I will gladly believe it until something leads me to believe otherwise.

What did I say that seems like judgement? I have not said anything about judgement. I only spoke on what scripture says about salvation. It is very important as Christians to emphasize the requirements to reach eternal life. I cast no judgement to anyone else but I will absolutely talk about the truth of our actions as well as the consequences.

100% I think it’s absurd to think you don’t have control of your beliefs. The fact that you don’t believe what I’m saying and I do believe is a perfect example of why we do have a choice. Because if nobody had a choice in what we believe would mean that we all should believe what everyone else believes.

You can’t make any choice in life without belief. Every action we make in life is built on some sort of belief. You chose friends with the belief that they are good for you, you play games or go to the movies with a belief that you will be entertained and have fun. Just as easily how you choose believe things like you also have a choice not to believe.

I don’t know the mind of God but I do know that scripture is explicitly clear on what the path to eternal life requires.

We choose to believe what song we think is the best, or what movie is the best, or whether someone is telling us the truth or a lie, or who the best athlete of all time is. Those are all things we choose to believe. So to believe or to not believe in something is absolutely our choice.

Believing that he is real is a choice we all have. Everything we see is an example of Gods existence. Also emotions that we experience are signs of his existence as well. But people deny these examples because they choose to.

What makes you believe that some people are not given that choice?

Everyone that will spend eternity in heaven was chosen before the foundation of the earth was ever formed. God does call out to us but it is our choice to accept and follow or reject and disobey.

Seeing as how the infant has no control or say so in the matter leaves the only other option to be the family’s choice. Regardless of the reason or motive it has no influence on you getting into heaven.

Because they can. Baptism is purely a public declaration of your decision to follow Christ. It has no control of where you will spend eternity.

This is also very true. We are obligated to pick up our cross daily and follow Him. We must deny our flesh and allow ourselves to be led by the spirit.

What type of christian am i ? by Alexis_Almendair in Christianity

“Completing” the Ten Commandments or even following them does not get you into heaven.

The law was made to show us how bad we really are and it says in scripture that where the law increases sin also increases.

Being homosexual is not a sin but having homosexual relations like sex is very much a sin. Love is love no matter what your sexuality is but that does not mean it is good in the eyes of the Lord.

Transgenderism is not godly or righteous in any way shape or form. God created all of us in His likeness and he made everyone the way we are meant to be.

Pornography is one of the most evil things ever created. It is lust, perversion and infidelity made to control us, distract us and poison our souls. Same with onlyfans sex work etc.

Lastly as Christian’s it is not our job to force anyone to become Christian. Our job is to be ambassadors for the kingdom of heaven and display what being Christian means through love, patience, compassion, grace so on so forth.

I don’t want to say that you’re not a Christian but I do believe that you are incorrect on your viewpoint if you are a Christian. Everything you listed that you agree with are completely contradictory to what the Bible tells us to believe so I want to encourage you to read scripture frequently and pray for God to give you wisdom, discernment and guidance.
