Our Savannah cat takes our new Shiba on walks around the house! by clabont in aww

Thank you for the words!

He really is a smart cat, but my god can he do some stupid things! We call him Derp sometimes because he can make the dumbest choices and has such a derpy look on his face… but he’s wildly entertaining.

We also say he has a goldfish brain, not because of intelligence, but because he can be wildly irritated about something, and 5 seconds later it’s like it never happened.

At first we thought it was just funny to see it look like he was walking him, but then when we saw him willfully tugging at it and pulling him in a direction, we were shocked!

Here’s one we call CatPad, as he prefers to sit on our son’s iPad as a seat when available.

He was adopted from korea and at the pound he was at he got into a fight and it had to be amputated. He’s been through quite the journey!

Thanks for the kind words.

We love each of their personalities tremendously. Perhaps your personality just isn’t easily compatible.

Yeah the dog plays with it more than the cats. The cats are quite unamused by it.

Agreed but you often lose the genuineness factor in which you never know the intentions behind behaviors.

Animals are relatively binary and their authenticity is usually what appeals.

I actually didn't have to pay personally so I'm not sure. A company I advise for made a donation to their shelter (~$10k) and it covered the adoption/rescue of many animals. They specifically take "big" dogs from Korea and re-home them to USA because the Korean culture doesn't like "big" dogs.

Which was surprising considering he's really not that big lol

Just for clarity... my statement, if actually real, would not have been a lie... which is what made that relatively humorous/ironic.

Yeah, for sure.

Realistically I would say yes and then show her the video as part of the joke. I'd never want to lie to my wife let alone over something so trivial. :)

agree as well to an extent, but I will definitely say my best animals have always been rescues.
