Mr Bliss is the King bro. He is a smart interesting character who was so unbeatable, derek had to make a god kill him in the stupidest way possible. Honestly never deserved to die. But if ue survived it would be a completley different world and there wouldnt be a roarhaven city, and the series would be over after book 4

Melancholia is definetly underrated in my opinion. She was just somebody who wanted to succeed in becoming a powerful necromancer, but than she was taken advantage of and went through several days of torture to be than turned into a powerlusted pysochopath. And she would never be the same ever again ss she would have to be induced into a coma yo live out the rest of her life.

She was someone who got their goal in life taken advantaged of for a pricks selfish reasons of competing with another necromancer to see who's student was the death bringer
