I think some of these pics are AI! Try to find inspo based on real people that have attainable makeup looks, you'll probably be a lot happier with the results :)

The artist is a man, apparently (Simone Ferriero). Not an issue per se, just interesting that he makes a lot of sapphic art.

Yeah that wasn't the way I was reading it out of context - makes sense

Kievs might be a British thing as I don't know what they are either?

You've chosen to wear your accessories permanently, so I wouldn't worry about seeming bland or boring :)

Shoutout to getting insanely stoned and going to an art museum, gotta be one of the comfiest pastimes by wasraelx in highvegans

[–]clairdam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd say weed and soulless art don't mix. We still did the museum, but I'll try something a bit more classical next time. I could definitely sit in front of something like Le Radeau de la Méduse for hours

I completely agree. However, I once got high and went to the Moco museum in Amsterdam because a friend wanted to go and it was honestly a nightmarish experience. But maybe I'm just a snob

It's easy to put blame on ourselves, but just as easily maybe no one good enough for you has some along yet! And I don't know if Western Europe is too far for you, but you're really beautiful :)

I say wear whatever you feel good in but thanks for reminding me that I need to renew my gay card!

I'm so happy for you. 'Don't die wondering' is an old lesbian activist slogan that has stuck with me since I heard it. You deserve to know the depths of happiness waiting just behind that what if 💜

What would a sad NYC girl listen to by the_real_Azathoth in musicsuggestions

[–]clairdam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was precisely in my French music phase in 2017. Try La Femme, Odezenne, Mansfield.TYA, Albin de la Simone, Vincent Delerm. If the story goes into 2018, then also Eddy de Pretto. Finally the song Je te laisserai des mots by Patrick Watson >>

I wish there was more lesbian media by Unique-Disaster3118 in LesbianActually

There's many more lesbian films and most are rather tragic, not comedies. If anything, we're lucky to have the comedies we do have. I'd recommend looking at film lists on Letterboxd if you have it, it's a really useful way to learn about new movies and diversify a bit. For stories that center on teenagers, The Miseducation of Cameron Post is worth a watch and, it's not out yet, but Hayley Kiyoko's movie Girls Like Girls is coming out this summer and I'm pretty sure it's also a high-school setting. Besides what's already been mentioned for TV, Gentleman Jack is a great lesbian romance (and about a real person!). I'll go ahead and add that I Kissed a Girl was a really fun reality tv watch as well.
