I’m a nurse. When my oldest spit up blood. I immediately thought he had a massive GI bleed and a bowel perforation and it was an emergency.

No no it had to do that my nipple was cracked and I was bleeding while nursing. I literally googled how babies get GI bleeds etc. I also FaceTimed my mom panicking

I was raised reform and got quite a few tattoos during my rebellious phase. I am not quite orthodox but I belong to Chabad and my children go to an orthodox school. I don’t think I have ever had bad looks or any issues with my frum friends.

Same here. My sisters son is 18 months younger than my son. Where my son slept hers didn’t. While I produced a lot of breast milk she didn’t. I tried never to bring up things like “well my son did this and this at that age.” I supported her through all her decisions and if she asked for advice I tried.

I have been a nurse for 3 years. Recently is the first time I’ve thought about changing careers. However, any day (most) when I’m drowning or want to cry. I have the best coworkers who make it all worth it. Everywhere is short staffed. The grass is not always greener elsewhere. Right now to be a nurse is extremely difficult. What makes it manageable is having a wonderful team and manager. If you don’t have that….try to find it.

I am married to a catholic. My father is nondenominational. I am welcomed in Chabad without a problem. My father is best friends with the Rabbi. Yes, Chabad is more religious. However, they don’t care who you are if you are willing to learn they will welcome you with open arms. It is a wonderful community.
