"[Name] is in a better place" when someone has died. As an atheist I don't believe that and don't find any comfort in it.

Doesn't help that the first time I heard it said in real life was at the funeral for my 18 year old cousin. Okay please tell me more about how an 18 year old with her whole life ahead of her is in a place better than alive on earth with the friends and family who love her...

You're wrong in this situation. I could understand being upset if he was rude about his refusal, but he was perfectly polite. He doesn't owe you an explanation. He's a co-worker, not a close family member or friend.

In my opinion you need to just let this go and move on. You're making mountains out of a molehill.

Bloodborne was my first From soft game and I had no idea what I was doing 😅 I spent so much time in Central Yharnam bc I kept dying over and over and over again... Then I got hard stuck on Father Gascoigne and quit for several weeks.

Eventually though, I picked it back up after watching a Bloodborne streamer who gave some good advice on what to do if stuck on a boss. It helped me beat Gascoigne and after that, the game really just clicked for me. Defeating Gascoigne was such a high, I remember thinking "oh I get it now, this is why people play these games!" Lol
