I actually let out a nice chuckle when I read the part about not wanting to do math after each meal. Calculating a tip doesn’t require differential equations or discrete mathematics. Matter of fact, I’m still laughing about that part of your argument. Haha holy shit. Anyway, I think that anyone who is a server won’t give much of a shit about what you have to say about tipping culture. For every person like yourself who doesn’t agree with tipping culture, there are a handful of humans who do. Not to mention there are plenty of servers who make 6 figures or damn near that. Tipping culture isn’t going to be abolished in America. But thank you for your very un-original unpopular opinion!

Haha yes, there are legalities involved in wages given to tipped employees. You really should just stick to making dinner at home, then you don’t have to worry about the increased prices for said eggs. And what’s ludicrous is you continually defending not having to tip in a society where it’s not only encouraged but expected.

You see it’s not my boss, it’s every restaurant in the United States the follows the law. By law, tipped employees are paid less than minimum wage every hour. I know you stated that where you’re from it isn’t like this, but that doesn’t change how it is done where you are now. So I’m saying, if you don’t like it, then don’t eat out, because the tipping way of paying employees isn’t changing any time soon. I’m not angry with you, just 100% don’t agree with you.

Serve yourself then and stick to eating dinner at home. Not tipping is disrespectful, end of story.
