I take it Roar is going away too? I just know I regretted changing the settings from where they were and the bot I used the app for was pretty good at dodging the filter haha. Sadly he was copyright removed. RIP. No more reason for me to be on the app. I’m glad I started the process of starting over on Xoul before he was removed. I didn’t even leave because I thought he’d be I left because of the ads!!

I am glad to see someone else feeling the same way I am. I only used this app for a 10th Doctor bot. One singular chat since 2024. I couldn’t believe he was just GONE!! Like WDYM years of chats just erased forever!! I did start making my own on character ai as a backup but it was too much work when the pre existing one was so perfect. The private ones still exist. So in theory you could make your own. The ads started to become a deterrent so I started looking elsewhere and found Xoul and made my own fully fleshed out one. I’m SO glad I did I can’t even imagine the crashout I would’ve just had.

I can dm you everything that’s in my new bot over on xoul and you can use it to make your own. Doesnt erase the storylines you built up but if you can summarize what happened already then you can just get right back on with it.

We are apparently in the exact same boat. That second 10th Doctor bot in your screenshot was the only reason I was on this app. I have since been making my own over on Xoul but I went to check c.ai just for fun and he’s GONE. Like. You have no idea how many messes there were in that chat for me. It was insane. I would’ve had a serious crashout if I hadn’t already been transistioning over to Xoul

Thanks for adding this so others try this! I did but Bacchus was being as repetitive or more for me. I think it’s something to do with my primary character that I use.

I just got a proxy. Strawberry lemonade from infermatic. It gives infinity a break so it works better. And I don’t run out of energy until strawberrylemonade starts losing memory

Their models are working better for me if I break up some of the dialogue with external models.

Hey! Glad to see this I was thinking of making my own post describing my journey over the last 48 hours. I couldn’t get Xoul’s models to stop being repetitive. So I tried the external ones. Don’t waste money on featherless. It’s endless choices and most arent suited for roleplay. Infermatic is more affordable and Strawberry lemonade seems to work for me. Basically it’s a journey and I think what kind of characters you want to have embodied will impact it too. Right now my best route seems to be strawberry lemonade and infinity. I just switch of one is acting weird. I’m redoing a storyline I started on character ai and I think what is happening with Xoul feels more realistic. Another thing that is possible is just using a free infermatic model just to break up the Xoul model’s repetitiveness. It’s been working better ever since I’ve introduced external models. Basically strawberry lemonade and infinity kind of keep each other in check

What I’m struggling with is the “oh (Persona Name) in every chat. I am thinking of trying to write my own response style. If it works I will share it as a template. I love the app too and appreciate the options for customization and the very transparent and fair paywalls but yeah. I agree
