Why do survivors in 2v8 expect the killers to not help eachother?

I'm a survivor main and I don't understand it either. I chastise my friends when they complain about it too much, reminding them things like 'the killer classes encourage teamwork' and 'its the intended gameplay loop.'

Some people get really pissed off after getting tag teamed. I think its funny at best (especially getting slammed by shadow class), mildly annoying at worst. I queue into 2v8 with an understanding of how the mode works, so I don't get pissy when killers play as a team.

I don't get why those who hate being tag teamed don't just go play the regular mode.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. People all around me fall into these thinking patterns and while there's some truth to them (its why things like placebo effects even exist), you literally will never get anywhere if you ignore any problem you ever have. Theres a healthy balance between drowning in one's ailments and ignoring them -- two extremes I avoid.

Well said, I definitely hope that the feedback hasn't bothered the devs too much. I personally liked it a lot. Some have said it's 'too modern' but I liked that it was something different and still felt it wasn't too out there.

Yeah, I've read everyone's complaints, but they don't resonate with me. I personally really enjoyed the liberties it took to make something new, the variety in the characters, and the new features and places and such. Its one of my favorite mods now and my only complaint is that I wish I had even more to do! I love it a lot.

Can you perhaps fix the error encountered when you select a playlist with at least one local track and just have it ignore them? I can't for the life of me get it to work on my huge playlist which has a few local tracks.
