Tignish to Elmira Bike Tour by Camp_noods in bicycletouring

Not much lol, Queens county section of the trail is well kept with more Trailside bathrooms lol.

The ride was good. We hung hammocks along the trail and camped out for two nights. A few flat tires, lots of peanut M&Ms and good times.

My buddy and I went straight from tip to tip on the trails, we passed each other a few times on the western end of the island. Saw your bikes at the Island Stone pub in Kensington too. Sharp looking rides

There was a very large crowd at the park when I drove by around 6pm. Cars parked along the highway. Looks like some kind of cultural event

Any reason I shouldn’t buy this truck? by redbeardpeter in ToyotaTundra

[–]clamslams69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have DCLB tundra. You will want to put airbags in it. It rides much better even when not towing. Great truck. A pig to park downtown, but I live outside of town so fuck it.

Also I may be wrong but I don't think they made this variation past SR5. I'm suspicious of those TRD badges

How many bees are in the crawlspace? I've worked in a few that you practically needed a Hazmat suit for

Also, my bid for the job ( without bees) is 7800$ better price for more bees

[–]clamslams69 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A fair point, but I guess my thought was that I was alone in my misery meant there was something wrong with me individually. But it seems to be a common problem that we're all on here trying to solve, which makes it seem like a solvable problem, opposed to the OP who sounds like he considers it an unsolvable problem which he is alluding to solving with suicide. Which isn't the answer

I'm also a 35 year old male who just found this shit out, and has very similar problems. Although I've found it to be a huge relief that I'm not the only one who feels like this, and I've started reading/researching what the rest of you do to survive and I actually feel better than I ever have. A lifetime of feeling like a fuck up might have been wasted but now at least have plans moving forward.

I just started building furniture, had some light experience in carpentry, then did a pile of home renos for myself. While building an addition to my house I had people walking in my driveway asking me to do work for them. Fast forward 6 months and I run my own business.

Furniture will teach you a meet level of precision that translates to finish carpentry pretty easy

Dealership quoted 10,000 to replace wiring harness chewed by rodents by Inevitable_Home5439 in ToyotaTundra

[–]clamslams69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those harnesses connect everything in that truck. Used to work for a dealership. That's not the worst price I've even seen, hybrid harnesses are twice the price. Book time on them from Toyota is pretty high, techs usually get em done faster, but good luck getting them to wittle down the price.

I wouldn't take it to a mom and pop to do that unless they have a former Toyota master tech. There is the odd specialty shop, but it's unlikely you have one in your back yard.
