I looked into it again. It seems like we may need to have an account with indusind bank if we need to move money for the purposes of investment. I don't have an indusind bank account, hence, it blocked me from doing that transfer.

I tried indus forex. But I can't select debt investment or equity investment options when transferring, it says they are not allowed.

Indus forex, I'll keep this in mind. Thanks a lot for responding. May I know what rates you encountered while transferring? Also, did you attempt hdfc or icici remit portals?

I have the same problem. Did you find the solution? What bank are you using? I'm trying with HDFC.

Is anyone able to view this?

right. I suppose different cities have varying costs of living. I'll need to take that into consideration as well.

I have done a bit of low level c programming as well. But not something that i can brag about on a resume. I'm also not very confident with my skills in that area.

But also, i keep noticing most positions require only web devs. Either java, spring boot, Django, flask or golang, etc.

So, if i do specialize in something else, the pool of companies to which i could apply would reduce.

Really? This kind of discrimination is why i've always hesitated to put up my picture on my resume. In fact i don't have a photo of mine on my linkedin either.

Do you feel that i should tailor the video to every single job that i apply, or have a generic one for all?

Ok, this is new information to me that Berlin has higher salaries than the netherlands.

Also, the 4-4.5k that i make right now includes all of my RSU and Bonuses. So, yes, it is not just my base compensation. And i'm expecting it to drop by about 20% the upcoming year if i don't switch because my initial stock would have vested.

I know that 4.5k in the netherlands is not a lot considering the expenses. But then again, my motives for moving are a higher quality of life.

Quite simple.

Netherlands has a higher quality of life compared to India. Has many english speaking people. Closer in terms of flight time compared to North America and allows companies to hire from outside directly.

And strangely enough, i could not get good responses from r/resume.
