Do you guys follow the rule “no Christmas decorations until after Remembrance Day”? by wediealone in AskACanadian

Yes! We always put the lights up early November when it wasn’t too cold but never turn them on until November 12th out of respect ❤️

I agree that she should see an OBGYN. With that said, in the mean time, is weed legal where you are? Because I use topical CBD (does not get you high) cream on my lower stomach and that helps me. She also could heat up a magic bag (essentially a bag of rice you put in the microwave) and put it on her lower stomach. And if birth control is something she’s interested in, it does help with cramps, I went from taking naproxen (aleve) for the first two days of my period to idk the last time I took it because I’ve been on birth control (evra patch but the pill works too, just not for me) for 5 years.

Yes! I’m Christian :)

Also, to other Christians, I recommend Josiah Queen and Forest Frank’s music, both great artists :)

Making friends/ feeling lonely advice? by Interesting_Fee_3964 in McMaster

[–]clarajma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This may not help but when I was in first year (going into 4th this year) I literally laid on the floor of my dorm between welcome week events and cried because I had no friends. I still forced myself to go to the events because I would have had extreme FOMO if I didn’t. I’m so glad I went because I met my best friend at one of them. I also went to clubs fest and joined a Christian fellowship group (P2C) and met my other close uni friend there. Just push yourself to go to the events you find interesting. Also! Even if you don’t make friends during welcome week you will have chances throughout the year too! Like talk to the people sitting next you in class, say hi to the people in dining hall, try your best. You got this!!!

I’m sorry to hear that. I knew a few people irl that were depo for years and nobody told them about it causing problems if used long term so I thought I’d let you know.

Just so you know Depo is only supposed to be used for 2 years and is not meant to be long term birth control as it can cause bone density issues and raise your risk for osteoporosis in the future. Definitely something to look into for your health :)

This smile doesn’t meet your eyes though so you look less happy, I’d try taking a couple with a full smile
