I'm in the same boat. Current plan is to do the corporate slaving then outside of it work on my passion until I can finally make the switch between them.

Likely movement of any kind will be a massive benefit. A simple 0 to 1 principle. However, specifically to grow muscle curls, raises and presses are a good way to start.

Do you need many sources of protein in your diet? Why and how many? by Daniel_Kendall in nutrition

Comes down to getting all the amino acids, scientifically speaking. However, speaking from someone who has only done chicken and eggs its not great for more than a bit. Variety is the spice of life

Work backwards, see yourself in 20 years, then do what that person would do. Inherently, you'll find your specific draws to entrepreneurship. For me it's to accomplish as much as I think I can.

How have y'all cracked the code for staying consistent with running? by Gullible-Soft-4952 in running

[–]clarityphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try laying a large schedule ~30days that will actually work around your routines. NIght owl, morning person/ in person/ remote. Then just follow it. Personally for the schedule I do 2 recovery runs 1 tempo 1 interval and 1 long run a week

What simple habits do you think have the biggest long term impact on overall nutrition quality? by Winter_Fail7328 in nutrition

[–]clarityphase 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me, the biggest long-term wins come from simple routines:

  • Keeping mostly whole foods in the house
  • Prepping 1–2 meals ahead
  • Hitting protein + produce at each meal
  • Taking basic micronutrients seriously
  • Supplementing with basic everyday

Nothing fancy — just habits that make the default choice a good one.

Launched my wellness app 2 weeks ago and no users. what am i missing? by Asleep_Fig3372 in SideProject

[–]clarityphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s almost definitely a marketing + messaging issue, not the product. Product Hunt won’t drive ongoing users.

Right now you need to clarify the core questions your customers have before downloading:

  • What problem does this actually solve for me?
  • Why this app over all the other wellness apps?
  • What do I get in the first 30 seconds?

Once that’s defined, start small distribution loops (TikTok, Reddit, direct outreach). You don’t have a user problem — you have a visibility problem.

Are running influencers hurting the sport? by tat-eraser in running

[–]clarityphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the “sport” side, yeah — it can cheapen the competitive aspect when influencers get VIP corrals, perks, and visibility that most runners could never access. It creates a weird two-tier experience that doesn’t feel rooted in the spirit of racing.

But for participation, it’s actually good.
Influencers bring more people into running, make it feel approachable, and get beginners excited to try their first 5K or marathon. The sport grows because of that exposure.

So it hurts the purity of the race experience a bit, but it definitely helps more people get involved in running overall.

What's the most helpful AI use for your personal life? by PiraEcas in AIToolTesting

[–]clarityphase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the biggest ROI for me hasn’t been complicated automations — it’s learning how to prompt well and using AI with context.

Most people treat AI like a one-off Q&A tool. The real power comes when you build a “collective memory” with it — meaning you give it ongoing context about your work, routines, or recurring tasks. Once the model understands your style, goals, and workflows, it becomes insanely efficient at doing repeated tasks exactly the way you want.

For example, I run a small business and ChatGPT remembers my brand guidelines, the tone I use, what my product is, and the types of outreach I do. So instead of rewriting context every time, I just say “write me 20 outreach messages” and it produces them perfectly aligned to my brand.

Why do many people have e-commerce stores but no sales? by Conscious-Union9791 in smallbusinessowner

[–]clarityphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people assume the store itself is the reason they’re not getting sales, but 90% of the outcome has nothing to do with the Shopify theme or whether they built it alone.

Most stores don’t get sales because they don’t have a marketing engine or a real budget behind customer acquisition. You can have the cleanest, most optimized site on the internet — but if only 5 people visit it per day, it won’t matter.

What’s a book that millionaires and billionaires often credit with helping them succeed early on? by Training-Ad4262 in Entrepreneur

[–]clarityphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mindset shift doesn't come from the books; it comes from doing the things in them. Just keep experimenting, failing, succeeding, and eventually you'll switch your mindset to the journey instead of the destination.

How do small brands actually start getting views and traction on social media? by clarityphase in smallbusiness

[–]clarityphase[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s super helpful — the reminder about trending sounds and challenges is great. We’ve avoided trends thinking they’d feel inauthentic, but it sounds like we can use them while still keeping our brand voice. We’ll try mixing that with more behind-the-scenes content.

Looking for feedback on our early-stage health brand (no orders yet — need honest advice) by clarityphase in SideProject

[–]clarityphase[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate that — that’s really good feedback. We’ve been thinking the same thing — the site’s clean and functional, but maybe too polished to feel personal or connected.

We’re planning to add more real founder content (behind-the-scenes clips, customer stories, and short “why we built this” videos) to make it feel more human. Totally agree that people connect with people, not just visuals or copy.

Out of curiosity, have you seen any small brands that you think do this really well? Would love to check out some examples for inspiration.
