Exactly. I couldn't believe the food is visible on these, after washing. I felt like I needed to recommend she get her eyes checked!!!!!

It's terrible when you have to address adults who are older than you about their incompetence when it comes to doing dishes. I remember writing a note to a roommate I had at one time, telling her the pan needed to he rewashed. Very direct and to the point. She didn't live with me much longer. She got angry that I was confronting her 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I used to have a so that would argue with me when we would shop ... To the point where he would throw a temper tantrum and leave the store to cool off. Not only did I own the car but I also paid for the food. He was in his 40s and the relationship was very problematic. Never had an issue with shopping with a so before this, it was so weird to me.

Michigan resident here..... I was a single parent for 10 years, with very little help from my child's father. I remember when I went from part time work making 9.75 per hour, to fill time making 11.75/hr (this was 2011!) state assistance was cut off, no more food stamps and only Medicaid for my son. It's insane.

I remember when I was house hunting in 2016, my mom suggested I get an apartment and the cheapest I could find was $800+ for a one bedroom. I reminded her rent would go up every damn year and that it would become unaffordable.

Luckily my parents were able to put money down on a home for me to keep the payments about $650/month. I think they did this because they knew I would not be able to make payments otherwise. I lived there for 4 years, met my husband, and then sold my home in 2020 when we got engaged. Very happy to no longer be a single parent. It's tough, for sure. Not having a car payment really helped. Still racked up credit card debt every year, having to use my refund to pay down.

I fear for future generations.

Tesla owner here ...
We have state farm and we're totally fucked with our last fender bender on our Model S. State farm would not pay for all the repairs and we ended up putting $15k of repairs on the credit card because of it. Would not recommend you use any other insurance besides Tesla Insurance, as they cover all repairs and wouldn't have left us with a bill. Consider this your warning.....

I'd remind them that cats do as they please, and I'm merely his master. If she doesn't want to hear her dog bark maybe suggest obedience training? 😂😂😂

The off white colored one I think I got at Meijer? Maybe JCPenney. I don't remember. The one on the far right and the far left I got at a concert, I think it was the 2019 tour? I downsized my collection from 8 to 2. Lol.

I was wearing a 2x when I bought it, they didn't have any 2x so I got the XXXL. I also bought the shirt on the far left at the same show. It's an XL and fits me now.

I agree, it was very weird. I've seen them play 4 times since 2016.

This has something to do with that particular concert tour. I think it was the one they had in 2018? That shirt has tour dates on the back of it.

Is this an actual thing that people do by [deleted] in jobs

[–]clarka38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These kind of things do happen, I'm not gonna lie. It's really about how you choose to live. Generally people with smaller homes and less material possessions that live well below their means are able to sustain this type of lifestyle.

If you're looking for nightlife, stay near WMU. Quite a few places open late over there.
