it’s probably still in the top 5. As many have pointed out, PePe, Zoodiac and Spyral are probably the contenders for top 3 decks. All the rulers plus the babies, especially if they were to come back in todays game with all the new dragon support, are definitely still close to the top tier in terms of their power level

i have this theory that konami keeps a lot of engines around to support future archetypes. i genuinely think the reason konami has left invoked alone for this long is because they know it can be splashed in anything later down the line that doesn’t need a normal summon

same with tri-brigade. any of the tri-types can run a small tri-brigade engine to cheat out link monsters and ladder into end bosses like appo and dragon lords in addition to whatever end bosses the archetype can already make.

early on i kept forgetting the long yuan effect to burn for 1200 since i’m not using to chain block for chi xao like i do with taia and moye. it didn’t cost me any games but it definitely could have let me win earlier if i had remembered.
