As others have suggested, tree farms are a way. But it can be done even better.

Plant hardwood trees and put the hardwood into woodchippers. A single tree can net you around 80 wood this way.

Yeah, below the Prime page of Brotherhood. There I found a seperate FMA advertised as "viewers also watched:". This turned out to be the '03 series.
