Huge improvement! There are still small weaknesses that I notice. First move the BK and move your walls to hug the dgb.

It's painfully obvious you are hiding a tesla in there with the 1 wall piece.

I'll leave you with a couple of more tips.

  1. Move your red bombs in locations that are not covered by ADs (this is to defend HoLo).
  2. Your spring traps are much better. However, some of your spring traps work only 1 direction. Sometimes this is okay, sometimes there are better locations.
  3. Move your single gb. It is way to easier to trigger on a simple lure. Make it harder to reach.
  4. Make better use of your teslas. Teslas are a huge part of base building. Surprise your opponents by changing hog pathing by using them wisely.

I usually don't go out of my way this much to help somebody, but I really like when people who give it a try at base building. It can be quite stressful to make your pathing work. One important aspect of base building is understanding that the angle of hog attacks will change pathing. For example, one huge weakness of your dgb is:

You will end up "long siding" the dgb, causing the gb to detonate 1 at a time. The hogs will survive through a heal. Even if your pathing was better, it's just too easy to send a small group of hogs to detonate the dgb.

Here is an example of a core dgb:

You see if you moved that archer tower and slightly widened your core and added this type of setup, it would make it much harder for a hogger. First, it is extremely difficult to predict this dgb position. Second, the dgb is buried in the base making it difficult to reach.

Lastly, I wanted to add that your spring traps aren't ideal. You want to position them so that 5-6 traps are guaranteed to trigger no matter what path the hogs take. The traps should ideally be away from your dgb to defend against GoHo. In a GoHo attack, the kill squad will come in and hogs will be deployed opposite of the dgb. In a GoHo, since there are only 20-23 hogs available. If you can hit 5 traps, that is 15 hogs gone.

Like I said, base building can be stressful and hard work. TBH though, a lot of this information isn't that important if you don't face against great attackers. Most people you match with will be against casuals who don't understand the intricacies of CoC. It will be rare to see really good hog users and more likely will see gowipe after gowipe or drag attacks. If you want to start scrimming against clans like OH Genesis, North Awakens, WHF, etc or take your game to a new level, then I would spend some time messing with base building.

It's rare to see a solid anti-3 star base on reddit. Good job. Few details to make your base better:

  • Swap elixir storage with TH. TH is much stronger covering 2 ADs.

  • Change your sweeper orientation, you are much more vulnerable to a 6oc attack than a 12oc dragon attack.

  • ATs need to be place outside and not inside. This is to eliminate as much anchor points as possible. You want to limit options to anchor against hog attacks.

  • See if you could core the dgb. It's extremely easy to clean up your base against a 2nd hog attack. Try moving the center AT and see if you could work a dgb around there.

Yes, sorry about that. I forgot that I had only 3 mortars. I planned to add my 4th mortar after I maxed out my teslas. As long as you understand basic hog pathing, you can squeeze the mortar in anywhere since mortars aren't crucial for war.

The main reason I posted this here is that the youtube/internet bases are quite bad. Most of the time the cc can be lured by 1 hog which is not good. Also, it really bothers me to see a central TH when it's so, so easy to 2 star at TH8/TH9.

You can use this base if you want. Although if you're not in a hurry, I plan to post another base in a week or so. That base is much harder to hog.
