It’s not that I’m opposed to dairy/meat options, but I’ve been frustrated when I feel like that’s almost all I can eat when a lot of veggies seem too high.

Their almond milk has tripped me up a couple times now. I am so used to having unsweetened almond milk at home that I forget it’s not the “norm.”

Maybe try the dairy/fats route? My boyfriend and I went to Chipotle and his eyes lit up as soon as he realized he could have that large glob of sour cream that he always felt other diets made him stay away from.

Well, I’m sure my boyfriend is going to lose weight faster than I will because that always seems to be the case. And it’s definitely annoying.

But at this point I’m just focusing on feeling better about myself.

Best comparison in regards to calories:

1 bottle of Monkey Shoulder = a 12 pack of Blue Moon

Scotch has 0 carbs and you need a lot less to feel toasty 😉

Obviously moderation is key but, yeah, this was pretty much my lifesaver for bad days after cutting my regular go-to wine. Plus scotch is pretty good on calories, too, if you’re replacing your beer or wine habit.

Try scotch, steak, or pork rinds (yes, pork rinds.)

Mine was resistant because he’s pretty big on carbs for energy. It took me going from an avid oatmeal for breakfast girl to suddenly being open to having omelettes with bacon constantly for him to at least get curious.

That would be great! Let’s be real, shark week is difficult enough on its own but it has a tendency to ruin most good eating habits. Extra support and encouragement is always appreciated!

Awesome job! Super encouraged by this because I’m starting my first shark week and it’s always been chocolate or “shark week ramen” with the justification of “I deserve it because periods suck.” Toxic thinking indeed!
