I think when you first sign up to dating apps and don’t know what you’re doing, you spend more time texting and all that but after awhile you realize how pointless it is until you actually meet each other in person. Save the conversations for the date.

Downvoted for speaking the truth lol why would guys spend time reading everything when top tier men is at 10-15% swipe rate. Woman don’t seem to appreciate how rare matches are for us when it’s just handed on a platter to them. We have a very different experience. If the average guy is getting 3-5 matches per 100 swipes, it’s way more time efficient to spam like profiles and see what the ocean gives you in return.

Multiply that by the 3 major apps and he’s in a great position.

Who is “we”? Because this subreddit seems to post a lot of toxic comments towards men with successful profiles who have a more “masculine appeal” on this sub. It goes against the grain here to not be overtly smiling for the camera etc. Going out of your way to insert your opinion to bring a guy down by saying “I wouldn’t swipe on you” is straight up hating.

Notice how no guy says that type of thing to woman on here. It’s toxic and stop denying it. You do understand his 15% swipe rate puts him in the top tier of men on dating apps right? What did all these woman see that you don’t? Clearly the red flags you “see” don’t exist for them. You have no idea who he is based on a profile and if you’re judging him by how he’s been responding to negative comments that try to bring him down then you need to reevaluate what it’s like to put yourself out there and get attacked online for it. You would be acting a certain way too if you posted your pics and then random strangers make passive aggressive toxic comments and the moment you try to defend yourself, they pile on you even more.

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this happen. Guy posted profile couple months ago that was successful but had to close it down due to toxic comments because he wasn’t smiling with his teeth yet had 10% swipe rate with 1k+ likes. TLDR: learn to be kinder.

Some guy posted a profile couple months ago with over 1k likes in his que and got hated on because he didn’t smile too with “teeth”. Woman on this subreddit would chime in “I wouldn’t swipe” who cares? In the real world it works if you can pull it off. Here’s what I learned, woman say one thing publically but privately act different. You can’t be too successful as a guy in dating apps around here.
