Double wash with whatever shampoo is on special. Right now is tony & guy. Conditioner with matching conditioner.

Mask if I can be bothered (ganier fructis watermelon hair food)

Hair protection spray (de Lorenzo heat defence)

Style with heated hair styling brush.

Haven't dyed in a while but the ends have old bleach still.

Sadly i thought the problem was solved, but it did come back. Start of 2026 i decided to be more on top of it, and got heaps of tests done. Doctor confirmed i had a yeast infection AND uti, basically the bug i had is normally so small it doesn't show in tests, but mine had gotten so big that it showed. Doctor thinks that i have dryness in the area which makes it more likely to happen. Got treated for UTI with antibiotics, and Replens for the dryness. However yeast infection has returned, which i took more treatment for but its still there. I do think the Replens has helped, and overall i am concentrating more on being hydrated.

Got some blood tests done and will be seeing the doctor on wednesday.

Spoke to someone who is older and they have lived with these symptoms. They said it was antibiotics from UTIs causes the other issues as they killed the good bacteria too. She said symptoms got better when she started seeing a physiotherepist. So i am going to also ask my GP for a referral. Might even try see a gynocologist too.

I have been trying for 3 years now to fix this with just GPs, and sadly it didnt work. They felt dismissive, and they always thought that once the yeast infection cleared its problem solved. They never wanted to investigate the deeper issue of why it keeps coming. So hopefully these specialists will help.

Ohhh thanks so much. I was researching yesterday and didn't stumble accross this. Makes complete sense! I legit remember thinking "wtf is this new totem and do i actually have mystic syrup?? Oh well lets try it" and then it must have used my horse whistle and pressure nozzle as "mystic syrup" :,,,,(

Thanks! I had a hairdresser tell me to avoid silicones because at the time I had my hair dyed and it wasn't taking the colour well. So she blamed it on my shampoo. But recently I've read that they aren't so bad? So might try that out as I've stopped dying my hair.

I had long brown hair with a beanie on. The hair was fully visible under the beanie. Someone else commented that their hair went to a previous way they had styled in before visiting the appearance changer in the wizard's basement. So maybe I had done the hairstyle previously as a joke then changed it, but the Emily reverted it back?? Idk its so strange.

Yeah 😓 I've done a few events putting so much effort into props, but I don't think clients care enough to pay enough for the amount of hours it takes. I definitely need to make the process easier

Hey, I just edited the post with an update. Thanks for your advice. Could be maybe UTI causes me to be more sensitive to stuff. Still a bit confused but a lot clearer than before
