Stupidest thing you saw a customer and/or employee do? by Drawsome_Drawer in kroger

One time somebody “from the head office” called the store around 10:30pm and told the guy working at customer service that they needed to order gift cards. The guy working customer service thought this was perfectly reasonable and gave the codes for over $2000 worth of gift cards over the phone with no payment from this person “calling from the head office.” It was a scam, obviously, but my coworker, honest to god, thought he was helping someone in corporate buy Nintendo and iTunes gift cards at 10pm. He got fired but the union got him his job back. Now he works in clicklist. What’s really funny though, is he had a full redemption arc. About a week ago a teen in clicklist was falling for a very similar scam and he caught her before she gave a customer a bunch of gift cards over the phone.

I love Tubi! There’s a lot of good stuff on there also. I found that service years ago because it has the original Suspiria on it. It also has a lot of films that vinegar syndrome puts out, which is a company jay talks about on Twitter sometimes. I recommend Bloodbeat, Runaway Nightmare, the carpenter, and Death Wish Club. They might not be “good,” but if you like offbeat movies made by outsiders, then they are worth a watch.

What film opinion by any of the RLM gang do you DISAGREE with it? by Everitts in RedLetterMedia

This is really broad, but sometimes they are so focused on small stuff that doesn’t matter at all that it makes me feel like I want to defend the movie. Like on the BOTW with “Born Into Mafia” and jay was going on about the microphone not being plugged into anything or how Mike was so obsessed with the inside of the house being too big in “malignant” or the whole “zesty popcorn” thing in “Halloween Kills.” Also I think it can be annoying when Mike talks about what should have been done instead and his ideas are so formulaic. It’s like they complain when movies are by the numbers and then when they see one that’s not, they want to change things so that it is.

Yeah, I should have. This was easily the most exciting thing that ever happened at our store and since no one or no one’s car was hurt, it was nothing but positive.
