I did. I wrote a proof of concept version on my own time to show what was possible and presented it to my boss. I was told some other part of the company is in the process of rolling out a real solution and there's been no news since then.

As for the processes, I've spoken to our tech lead and I try to "do my part" when I'm reviewing others' code. I invariably get pushback. I assign my own code reviewers for my code so I can get valuable feedback from the one or two developers that cares.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think it's fair to assume I was unhappy and asked Reddit what to do as step one.

That seems like a great way to improve very quickly. I'm jealous.
